The 1st diesel event of the year on our home railway, with action from home fleet as well as special guest locomotives.

The 16 CSVT Explorer
Branch Line Society
24th May - 26th May 2025
A 3 day trip day to North West England, visiting the cathedral cities of Chester and Liverpool with the added bonus of some rare routes on the Merseyrail network. Working in top "n tail formation the entire weekend with Hanson & Hall's 50008 Thunderer, its certainly shaping up to be a fantastic weekend.
Light refreshments and a real ale and cider bar are expected to be available on board with all profits made going to Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital Charity.

Always highly anticipated, the autumn diesel bash is another bumper weekend of all things diesel on the Severn Valley Railway with a host of visiting locomotives joint the home fleet.
