During the period 1990 to 1994 many moments of the daily workings of the Class 50 loco predominantly around the Exeter and London area during its final period of activity working on the S.W. route were captured by Allan using his semi-pro video equipment.
This programme charts the activity in geographical order starting at Exeter St Davids and is completed at London`s Waterloo.

Locations featured include Exeter St Davids; Exeter Central; Honiton Stn; Honiton Bank; & Axminster; followed by Clapham Junction; Vauxhall; and the terminus at Waterloo.
Sequences filmed onboard train of journey up 1-37 climb to Exeter Central from St Davids; and journey from Honiton to Axminster and return.
To round off the programme it also includes some scenes from the final railtours.
