Take a journey from Paddington to Penzance with the class 50. All the classic locations are featured, along with all fifty class 50s. Every main livery variation appears, as does both refurbished and unrefurbished locomotives.
 
As would be expected for a book that focuses on class 50s on this route, most of the photos feature passenger and parcels duties in the 1970s and 80s. 
 
The quality of each image makes this book stand out from some recent publications, a tribute to the late Hugh's skills with the camera.
