We are pleased to report that 50007 Hercules & 50049 Defiance have returned to our home base after their repaint into classic large logo livery at Eastleigh.
The C50A chairman,Tony Middleton said
“We want to say a huge thank you to the whole team at Arlington Fleet Services for yet another incredible job and finish on Hercules & Defiance.
It has been a pleasure to work with Arlington on this project and the locomotives look incredible.”

0Z50 was the headcode on Friday 9th August as they made their way north after a 6 weeks absence during which their GBRf colours were replaced by British Rail blue.
C50A chairman, Tony had enjoyable duty, in his day job as a driver for GBRf , to power the pair back to Kidderminster SVR.
