50033 Glorious has certainly lived up to her name during her star appearance at the Somerset based railway last weekend.
The West Somerset Railway Summer Diesel Festival (6th - 8th June ) featured a varied array of traction for visitors to enjoy, with 50033 proving a very popular choice.

The locomotive made her very 1st visit to Minehead on the opening day with a almost faultless trip.
Unfortunately a small issue halted the 09:00 from Bishops Lydeard for a short time at Blue Anchor.
The experienced C50A crew,swiftly rectified the issue, with no impact to the timetable.
Anyway,it was a great opportunity for passengers to capture the beauty of 50033 ,at this charming coastal setting.
The Fifty Fund sales stand was in action on Saturday at Minehead station by the sales team of Christine & Joe Burr
Operating on all 3 days of the summer diesel festival and the Mixed Traffic Event on the Sunday, where Glorious started the day with a Minehead departure at 10:00am with a very special headboard ,a surprise for one of the C50A members, as it was my 50th Birthday- what a way to celebrate !
